Description

Baja 1000 East Cape Full-Day Tour

Experience an unforgettable full day exploring Baja racing country on our private 2026 Baja 1000 East Cape Full-Day Pre-Run Experience.

This approximately 7–8 hour private off-road adventure takes you beyond the resorts of Los Cabos and into the rugged desert, mountain and coastal terrain of Baja California Sur aboard a high-performance 4-seat Can-Am Maverick X3 Turbo RR.

With your local guide driving, you can enjoy the adventure, scenery and incredible terrain without worrying about navigating unfamiliar Baja back roads.

The vehicle is reserved for your group with up to three guests, making this a private Baja experience rather than a large commercial ATV tour.

A Full Day Exploring the East Cape

The Baja 1000 East Cape Full-Day Tour gives us considerably more time to explore than our four-hour experience.

Depending on the final official 2026 course, legal access, weather and trail conditions, the adventure may explore terrain in the direction of San José del Cabo, the East Cape, Cabo Pulmo, La Ribera and Los Barriles.

Where legally permitted, the route may incorporate selected terrain associated with the 2026 Baja 1000.

Expect a constantly changing Baja landscape that may include:

  • Remote desert trails
  • Sandy arroyos and washes
  • Rocky off-road terrain
  • Mountain trails
  • Open Baja back roads
  • East Cape coastal scenery
  • Sea of Cortez views
  • Remote Baja landscapes
  • Scenic overlooks
  • Photography stops
  • Selected Baja racing terrain where legally permitted

This is real Baja terrain, so every adventure can be different.

Experience Baja Racing Country

Watching the Baja 1000 is incredible.

Exploring the terrain yourself gives you an entirely different appreciation for the race.

Throughout the day you’ll experience the desert roads, washes, rocks, mountains and remote landscapes that have made Baja one of the world’s legendary destinations for off-road motorsports.

The objective isn’t simply to cover as many miles as possible.

The objective is to give you a memorable Baja 1000 East Cape experience while exploring some of Southern Baja’s spectacular backcountry.

Your Private Can-Am Maverick X3

You’ll travel aboard a high-performance 4-seat Can-Am Maverick X3 Turbo RR.

Your guide drives while you enjoy the terrain and scenery.

Unlike mass-market Cabo ATV excursions, we aren’t loading dozens of people into a large convoy.

Your Can-Am is dedicated to your group.

There are up to three guest seats, making this ideal for couples, families and small groups looking for a private adventure.

  • Approximately 7–8 hours of guided adventure
  • Private 4-seat Can-Am Maverick X3 Turbo RR
  • Experienced local guide and driver
  • Up to 3 guests
  • Fuel
  • Bottled water

  • Closed-toe shoes
  • Comfortable clothing that can get dusty
  • Sunglasses
  • Sunscreen
  • Hat
  • Phone or camera
  • Light jacket when appropriate
  • Any personal medication you may need

This is Baja. Dust and changing desert conditions are part of the experience.

How Long Is the Full-Day Tour?

Plan approximately 7–8 hours for the guided experience.

Actual mileage and timing can vary according to the day’s route, trail conditions, weather, closures and other factors outside our control.

The additional time compared with our four-hour experience allows us to explore substantially more of the East Cape and reach more remote Baja terrain.

How Much Does the Baja 1000 East Cape Full-Day Tour Cost?

$1,495 USD Per Private Vehicle

The price is per vehicle, not per person.

Your private Can-Am accommodates up to three guests riding with your guide.

For a group of three, that works out to approximately $498 per guest for a private full-day Baja adventure.

A $200 USD reservation payment secures your available date and is applied toward the total tour price.

Availability surrounding the 2026 Baja 1000 is limited, so advance reservations are strongly recommended.

Where Does the Tour Go?

The experience operates throughout the Los Cabos and East Cape region of Baja California Sur, Mexico.

Depending on the official 2026 course information and conditions, the day’s route may explore terrain toward areas such as the East Cape, Cabo Pulmo, La Ribera and Los Barriles.

The exact route is determined according to legal access, official course information, current trail conditions, weather and applicable race or pre-running restrictions.

We will not enter areas that are closed, prohibited or considered unsafe.

Is This the Actual Baja 1000 Course?

Where legally permitted, the experience may incorporate selected terrain associated with the 2026 Baja 1000 course.

This experience is not a race.

It is a private guided Baja adventure designed to let guests experience the terrain and environment that make Baja off-road racing famous.

Speed is always determined by terrain, visibility, traffic, people, animals, weather and current conditions.

Why Choose the Full-Day Experience?

If you’re traveling to Los Cabos specifically for the Baja 1000, this is the experience we recommend.

Four hours gives you a taste of Baja.

A full day gives us time to explore.

With approximately 7–8 hours available, we can travel farther into the East Cape, experience more varied terrain, make scenic stops and turn the excursion into a genuine day of Baja adventure.
